Liverpool fan, British actor would accept Jürgen Klopp as successor in the role
Saying goodbye to the role of James Bond after 15 years, Daniel Craig decided to join the discussion of who should succeed him at the head of the 007 franchise. German football player Jürgen Klopp, responsible for the team, as his favorite to live the character. Check out.
“I adore him, so yes,” stated the actor, between laughs. “I’ve been lucky enough to meet him a few times and you just want to follow him. There have only been a few people like that I’ve met in recent years, another being Alex Ferguson [a legendary former Manchester United coach]. He’s a leader, so I think he’s already surpassed James Bond, in a way,” he concluded.
At the beginning of Craig’s Goodbye to Die, James Bond is retired from agent life, but his peace is disrupted when old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), who works at the CIA, asks for his help. sets Bond on the trail of a new villain armed with dangerous technology.
Also back in the cast are Léa Seydoux as Madeleine, Ralph Fiennes as M, Christoph Waltz as Blofeld and Ben Whishaw as Q.
The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and is scheduled to premiere in Brazil on September 30th.
