Bill Skarsgard: the best movies of the new villain of John Wick 4 

The younger brother of Alexander and Gustaf Skarsgard is also making his mark in film and television. 

Bill Skarsgard is also a Nepo Baby, he comes from a dynasty of great actors like  Stellan Skarsgard and Gustaf Skarsgard from Vikings, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a great actor and hasn’t worked hard to get where he is now. . 

Actually, Bill has built a successful career on his own, and while the last name probably opened a few doors for him, he’s proven time and time again that they have the power to create great characters, and that he shines when he’s in the role of villain or of disturbing characters (which is something his brother,  Alexander Skarsgard, also does very well).  

So far,  Bill Skarsgard has appeared in adaptations of  Stephen King (movies and a great series), joined the world of Marvel with a role in the sequel to Deadpool, worked with  Charlize Theron in one of the best spy and secret agent movies of this century and helped tell the true story of the criminal who gave rise to the famous Stockholm Syndrome, and everything indicates that many more successes will be added to the list. 

Skarsgard is also one of the new villains in the  John Wick saga, where he appears alongside Keanu Reeves, and it’s a good time to learn more about him through the big projects he’s appeared in before.

John Wick 4 – coming soon 

Skarsgard plays the character called  Marquis in the fourth film in the  John  Wick saga , where we again see Keanu Reeves fighting for his life, trying to escape from the hired killers who are after him for a reward and seeking revenge on all those who have been damaged on this journey that began with a murdered puppy and a stolen car. 

It – HBO Max

It and It: Chapter II are based on one of Stephen King’s most famous novels , where a group of children discover that the tragedy of one of them is connected to a killer clown, which is actually a dark and terrifying creature that appears every some time in his town, where he intends to feed on children, and their fears, of the place to stay alive. 

Villains – On Demand 

Skarsgard and Maika Monroe appear together in this horror comedy, where they play a couple of criminals who, while trying to escape from a crime scene, arrive at a house in the suburbs thinking that they will be safe there, but soon discover that the owners, Quite an odd couple, they have a dark and disturbing secret and they probably won’t get out of there alive unless they find a way to kill them before it all ends badly.  

Barbarian – Star+ 

Georgina Campbell, Justin Long and Bill Skarsgard star in this disturbing horror film, where it all begins when a woman arrives at the AirBnb she rented and discovers that someone else is staying there and that they are going to have to share. The house is in a very lonely area, she feels somewhat insecure and everything gets worse when they discover a series of secret tunnels that leads them to discover a terrible secret and a great threat that puts their lives in danger. 

Assassination Nation – On Demand 

This movie puts an interesting twist on the stories of the Salem witch trials and witch hunts. Starring  Odessa Young and Suki Waterhouse , this story takes place in modern Salem, where a hacker begins to reveal the dark secrets of its inhabitants, unleashing a wave of chaos, paranoia, violence and persecution, where a group of teenagers are forced to fight to survive. 

Deadpool 2 – Disney+

Skarsgard appears as the character Zeitgeist in this sequel to the Ryan Reynolds film. In this sequel,  Deadpool must team up with a group of mutants to protect a boy with special powers, who is pursued by a cyborg named Cable, who has the ability to travel through time. 

The Devil All the Time – Netflix 

Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, Skarsgard and Harry Melling appear together in this movie. Set in rural southern Ohio and West Virginia, The Devil All the Time continues beginning at the end of World War II and extending through the 1960s, telling the story of a veteran who loses his wife, that of a a couple of serial killers looking for their victims on the highways, that of a preacher who must escape the law, and that of the son of that first soldier, who must learn to grow up alone and deal with his family’s traumas. 

Eternals – Disney+

Bill Skarsgard is the voice of Kro in this Marvel movie that left fans divided. The film tells the story of a group of heroes who have been hidden on Earth for centuries, witnessing some of the most important events. But, in the aftermath of the battle with Thanos, they are forced to come out of hiding and fight to try and protect the world from those who seek to destroy it.
