Black Panther 2 | Martin Freeman says he’s read the script for the sequel

Actor praised Wakanda Forever script

The script for the sequel to Black Panther already exists, and is gradually arriving in the hands of the cast. Who revealed the information was Martin Freeman, who lives Everett K. Ross at MCU, and said: “I read the script, it is very good! I know everyone in the cast will do that at some point over the next few months. I’m going to the United States to handle the project, and I’m really excited about it. ” [via Metro]

In another interview, Freeman stressed that he cannot share details about Wakanda Forever: “In addition to saying that things are happening, as you may have imagined, Marvel demanded confidentiality from all of us,” he said [via Coming Soon].

The Black Panther sequel will be written and directed by Ryan Coogler. There are no casting confirmations yet, but speculation indicates that Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Martin Freeman and Angela Bassett must reprise their roles. The film is scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.

Released in 2018, Black Panther, the film, was one of the biggest successes of the Marvel studio, winning 3 Oscars and grossing more than $ 1.3 billion at the box office.
