Fans pointed out that Peter Parker’s alleged lawyer’s arms would be for the British star
British actor Charlie Cox finally addressed the fan theory that pointed to the forearms of a man interacting with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Return Home, as being by Daredevil star, from Netflix. In an interview with comicbook.com, Cox denied that the person who appears in the preview is himself.
“I can promise you those aren’t my forearms,” Cox said. While rumors have long hinted at his role in the film, this isn’t the first time the actor has denied his claims. Last year, he said: “I hadn’t heard these rumors, but it certainly wouldn’t be my Daredevil. I’m not involved in the film. If it’s true, it won’t be with me, but with another actor.”
Spider-Man: No Return Home will feature Holland, as well as Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, among other talents in its cast. The plot, as confirmed by the preview, will bring Parker trying to erase from everyone’s memory the face behind the Spider-Man mask, turning to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to try to change reality.
Jon Watts, who directed the hero’s last two films, returns as director. The premiere of the third Spider-Man film is set for December 16th.
