The director of Fast and Furious 9 talked about the possibility of including Paul Walker’s character in the next film. Justin Lin said that he has already thought about it, but that the final decision is not his.
“Obviously, Paul and his character Brian are the soul and heart of how we’ve been able to move forward. Bringing him back is something I think about every day. As we approach the end of the franchise, it’s a conversation I’m having. And I think about this possibility every day. But I know the decision to keep the character alive in the franchise was made while I was gone. So I have to be respectful about it. I need to feel good and confident in what ends up happening.”, said Lin in an interview with CinePOP.

In Fast and Furious 9, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and little Brian live a quiet life, until the appearance of Toretto’s old gang announces the arrival of a new threat and thus the beginning of a new adventure around the world.
