Fast and Furious 10 filming in Rio de Janeiro

Character’s future is uncertain after the events of No Return Home

Jacob Batalon, who played Spider-Man’s best friend Ned Leeds in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), responded to whether his character will have any comebacks after the events of No Coming Home.

“I feel like actors are the last people to know,” Batalon told Collider. “I think people assume actors are always hiding secrets. I promise you, we don’t know anything.”

In the last film of the Webbread trilogy, to fix the mess involving villains and spider-men from various multiverses, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) decides to erase everyone’s memory of the Neighborhood Hero’s true identity, which includes his faithful and best friend Ned.

The actor also says that he does not know the direction of his character, but he hopes that Ned appears in the next productions of Marvel.

“If it’s the right place, at the right time, with the right group of people that we’ve been with, I’d say, why not? But other than that, whatever happens, it happens. Really, those decisions are up to the big bosses, the people who sign the checks. We’re open to the idea, but we’re not expecting it.”

Spider-Man: No Return Home is available on HBO Max.
