Indian film RRR: Uprising, Revolution and Rebellion has a sequel confirmed

RRR: Uprising, Revolution and Rebellion, an Indian film that became a hit this year, is getting a sequel. The information was released by Variety this Monday (14), director SS Rajamouli revealed that a story is being elaborated alongside his father and screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad.
“My father is the screenwriter of all my films,” said Rajamouli. “We had a little discussion about [‘RRR 2’] and he’s working on the story.”
With a budget of US$ 72 million, the film is one of the most expensive films ever made in India and became a box office and critical success for its insane action scenes.
The plot takes place in pre-independence India, where a brave warrior on a dangerous mission meets a tough policeman serving in the British army.
