Obi-Wan Kenobi | Fast Actor says his character on the show is “sexy”
Sung Kang, the Han of The Fast and the Furious, will star opposite Ewan McGregor on the Disney+ series
Actor Sung Kang, famous for playing Han in the Fast and Furious saga, said his character in Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Star Wars series on Disney+, is “delightfully sexy.” The statement was given in an interview with Tara Hitchcock’s YouTube channel.
Kang explained that, as usual for Disney, he couldn’t reveal anything about the plot of the series starring Ewan McGregor, but added, “I can talk about my character since I’m the one playing it. He’s deliciously sexy.”
The actor declined to give more details, but spoke in the interview, too, about his return to The Fast and the Furious after eight years (before the ninth film, he had only appeared in the sixth, in 2013). “It’s the kind of experience you only get once in a lifetime. What do you mean I’ve been killed several times in history, but they keep bringing me back?”, he joked.

“When [the hashtag] #JusticeForHan came along, it made me think, ‘Wow, there really are people all over the world who enjoyed my work as an actor in this movie.’ Within my struggle in Hollywood as an Asian pro, it’s cool to think about that in us difficult moments,” he added.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will have Ewan McGregor back as the Jedi master who trained Anakin, and who years later was also responsible for introducing Luke Skywalker to the knowledge of the Force. McGregor played the character in Episodes I to III of the saga created by George Lucas . The series is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
