The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: what to remember about Zemo in the MCU

As part of his plan to destroy the Avengers, Zemo sought information about HYDRA and the secret program that involved Winter Soldier , as well as the death of Tony Stark’s parents in 1991. The soldier discovered that Bucky Barnes had murdered the Starks and later took his identity to blame him for the attack on the United Nations headquarters where the king of Wakanda, T´Chaka, died.

Zemo was eventually captured and left in charge of Everett Ross and the Joint Counter-Terrorism Center. The series shows us that Zemo will have to work with Bucky and Sam for a while, but that alliance is likely just part of his plan to escape and to continue the mission that began in Civil War.
