Yes, Cara Delevingne donated her orgasm to science
For the Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne series, the actress put herself at the service of science and an orgasm of hers had to be “donated”.
Cara Delevingne really is ready to explore sex like never before. Planet Sex is a new series that the actress and model will star in, in which she will appear discovering different aspects of sex in various cultures where there are different perspectives on it, including science -going so far as to donate an orgasm for research-, this being one of the less crazy things that will be seen in these episodes.
Donating a what?
In the Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne series, the actress visits a hospital in Germany with expert researchers on the subject and donates a sample of her blood before and after orgasm in order to provide more concise data on what the phenomenon causes in body chemistry, which is measured through the level of endocannabinoids in the system, a chemical responsible for promoting a state of relaxation, reducing anxiety.
The research seeks to delve into the issue of the separation of climaxes by gender, particularly in studies that indicate that men are more likely to have an orgasm than women, and how this disparity can be reduced.
“I’m here to have an orgasm and donate it to science,” says the model. “I think that female sexual desire has been suppressed. I know from my own sex life how sexual women can be so you would think that in the 12th century both men and women could have satisfying sex lives right? Get ready for a surprise. When it comes to orgasm there is a definitive separation of genders. Scientists say that 95% of heterosexual men have an orgasm during sex but only 65% of heterosexual women do.
This is part of an episode of this six-part series, in which Delevingne “will be searching for answers”, and in addition to showing the above, she will appear making art of her vagina in Japan, visiting a women’s sex club, having a masturbation class, among many other things trying to understand more human sexuality.
